[Event Participation Pledge]

1. I pledge to comply with all terms, rules, precautions, and instructions established by the event organizers.

2. I pledge to take full responsibility for my own safety and health, and to immediately withdraw from competition and the event should I experience any physical abnormalities.

3. I acknowledge that the competition is a highly dangerous sport and that cycling events also involve inherent risks. Therefore, in the event that I sustain an injury, suffer lasting aftereffects resulting from such an injury, or die during the competition, while participating in cycling events, or during any related activities, I hereby release all event organizers and personnel from any and all liability, except in cases of gross negligence on the part of the event organizers. Accordingly, except in cases of gross negligence on the part of the event organizers, I pledge not to file any claims for compensation—on my own behalf or on behalf of my family, guardians, or other related parties—for any injuries I may sustain or any property damage, including damage to bicycles.

4. I pledge to assume full responsibility for any damage or issues arising with my personal belongings or equipment during the event competitions and related activities.

5. I agree to receive appropriate medical treatment in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the event, and I pledge not to raise any objections regarding the methods of treatment or the results thereof.

6. I pledge that even if the tournament is canceled or its content is altered due to reasons beyond the organizer’s control—such as deteriorating weather conditions or adverse environmental factors—or if participation becomes difficult due to the loss or damage of equipment, I will not hold the organizer liable and will not request a refund of the participation fee or any other expenses.

7. I swear that I will not object to, and hereby consent to, the free use of my name, photographs, video footage, and other likenesses in broadcasts by the media (news and information organizations) via terrestrial, BS, CS, the Internet, YouTube, etc., as well as in commercial secondary uses such as DVD production, and in websites, publications, and printed materials (including those for sale) produced by the event organizers or the governing sports bodies.

8. I swear that all information provided on the event registration form is true and accurate. Furthermore, I and my guardian swear that we have fully understood the contract and its contents regarding the event, have agreed to them, and have filled in the required information and signed the form.

[Regarding the Use of Personal Information Collected from Customers]

The organizer recognizes the importance of personal information and will handle it in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, based on the organizer’s Personal Information Protection Policy. For the purpose of improving services for event participants, personal information will be used to send participation guidelines and notifications of related information; to provide services from event sponsors, collaborators, co-organizers, and affiliated organizations; to coordinate emergency medical care and cooperation with medical institutions; and to publish event records.

[Disclaimer Regarding Force Majeure]

The organizer shall not be held liable in any way if the event is canceled or its content is altered due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control—such as severe weather, earthquakes, wind and flood damage, incidents, accidents, or poor competition conditions resulting from the spread of designated infectious diseases—nor shall the organizer be liable if participation in the event is hindered by the loss or damage of equipment. Please note that the organizer will not reimburse any entry fees or other expenses incurred in connection with participation in the event.
