◆Cycling Around Okinawa Main Island (325 km) [2 days]—300 participants Men and women in high school or older who can ride at an average speed of 25 km/h or more Overseas residents / Foreign nationals residing in Japan ◆Yanbaru Century Ride (163 km)—300 participants Men and women in high school or older who can ride at an average speed of 25 km/h or more Overseas residents / Foreign nationals residing in Japan ◆Yanbaru Gourmet Ride (90 km) — 300 participants Men and women in middle school or older Overseas residents / Foreign nationals residing in Japan ◆ Warumi Bridge & Kouri Bridge Cycling (42 km) — 200 participants Men and women in 3rd grade or older Overseas residents / Foreign nationals residing in Japan *Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; please register them separately. ◆ Ie Island Family Cycling (40 km) — 100 participants Men and women in 3rd grade or older Overseas residents / Foreign nationals residing in Japan *Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; please register them separately. |

◆Cycling Around Okinawa Main Island [2 Days] Adults: 35,000 yen High School Students: 30,000 yen Accommodation costs are not included in the participation fee. Participants in the Touring Around Okinawa Island Course are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. If you are looking for accommodations, please contact the Nago Tour Center (0980-53-7500), the official tour center for the event. ◆Yanbaru Century Ride Adults: 18,000 yen High School Students: 13,000 yen ◆Yanbaru Gourmet Ride Adults: 11,000 yen Middle and High School Students: 8,000 yen ◆Warumi Bridge & Kouri Bridge Cycling Adults: 8,000 yen Middle and High School Students: 5,000 yen Elementary School Students (3rd grade and up): 3,000 yen ◆Ie Island Family Cycling Adults: 10,000 yen Middle and High School Students: 7,000 yen Elementary School Students (3rd grade and up): 5,000 yen *Participants who complete the cycling event will be awarded a certificate of completion. |
| General Guidelines for All Events |
◆Athlete registration will not be available on any days other than the designated date. Participants who have not registered will not be allowed to participate on the day of the event. ◆Traffic restrictions will be in effect on roads around the venue starting around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 8. Please strictly adhere to the designated meeting time. ◆While first aid will be provided for accidents or injuries occurring during the race, any subsequent medical treatment is the participant’s responsibility. Please be sure to carry your health insurance card. ◆Unless the incident is directly caused by the race, insurance will not apply if you do not report it to the organizers during the event. ◆Unauthorized riding (such as violating the terms of agreement or exceeding the permitted distance) will result in disqualification. We assume no liability whatsoever for accidents or other incidents, and insurance will not apply. ◆The organizers will provide accident insurance for participants (Citizen Race Division: 1,000 yen for hospitalization; up to 5,000,000 yen for death or permanent disability / Cycling Division: 1,000 yen for outpatient treatment; 3,000 yen for hospitalization; up to 5,000,000 yen for death or permanent disability). However, if you feel this coverage is insufficient, please purchase your own insurance. ◆Applications without the event agreement are invalid. (Consent is required for online applications.) ◆During the event period from Saturday, November 7, to Sunday, November 8, please park your vehicle—whether it is a competitor’s vehicle or a private vehicle—in the designated parking lot specified by the organizers. *These guidelines are subject to change without notice. |
| Cycling Safety Guidelines |
Cycling If you are participating in the cycling event, please use a bicycle approved for use on public roads, including mountain bikes and small-wheeled bikes. Cycling Rules ● This event is not a timed race. Please obey all traffic laws. Since there is general traffic on the roads, which can create hazards, do not tailgate, ride side-by-side, or cut in front of others; strictly ride in single file. ● You must wear a helmet and gloves. ● Accompanying cyclists in a vehicle is prohibited. ● The rider in the lead must not pass the lead vehicle. ● The event staff will guide the front of the cycling group; do not pass them. ● If you need to withdraw for any reason, please notify a staff member and follow their instructions. |
