Application method First come, first served
Spring's first full marathon circling Lake Toya. Full marathons on Japan Association of Athletics Federations-certified courses, along with 10K and 5K courses, attract runners from across Japan and overseas to race through the fresh greenery along the lakeshore.
Aid stations offer local sweets and other treats. Participants will receive prizes such as hot spring bathing tickets. The main venue features events like gourmet food stalls and a mochi-throwing lottery for supporters to enjoy.

10km: High school students and older ¥5,000 (High school students: ¥2,500)
5km: Middle school students and older ¥5,000 (High school students: ¥2,500, Middle school students: ¥2,000)

Competition Method

●Full Marathon (42.195km)
・For starting block alignment:
- Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) registered athletes (male/female) will be divided into Blocks A, C, F, and G based on bib number order.
- General participants (male/female) will be aligned separately into Blocks B, D, E, F, and G by their declared time order, following the guidance of the staff.
If no declared time is provided, you will be assigned to Block G.
Assemble in your designated block (indicated by placards) between 8:20 AM and 8:50 AM for the start.
*Note: Late arrivals will start from the rear of Block G.

Time limit・Closing time ●Time Limit
Full Marathon: 5 hours 30 minutes (from the starting gun)
●Closing Time

・The course loops back around at approximately 6km after the start. To ensure safety, a time limit will be enforced at the 5km checkpoint.

・Competitors who are expected to exceed the next checkpoint closure time after passing any checkpoint will be ordered to stop the race.
・Competitors who miss a checkpoint closure time or are ordered to stop the race must remove their runner's chip and board the collection point or the rear collection bus.
・Runners may be temporarily stopped due to traffic conditions or the passage of emergency vehicles.
・Under no circumstances will runners be permitted to start after the starting gun has been fired and the final monitoring vehicle has departed.

Awards

・Marathon Overall: Top 10 finishers (men and women)
・Marathon Age Groups: Top 3 finishers (men and women)
・10km and 5km: Top 6 finishers (men and women) in all heats
・Special Award: Oldest Participant Award (or Longevity Award)

*Awards ceremonies will be held only for the 5km, 10km, and Marathon Overall categories. Awards for Marathon Age Groups will be distributed at the awards tent booth as needed.

Finisher's medal (only for those completing the full marathon within the time limit)
Pre-Event Festival On Saturday, May 16th, the day before the event, we will hold a pre-event festival for those who wish to attend (participation fee: ¥2,000).
Applications will close once the capacity of 200 people is reached. (Applications are accepted only at the time of entry.)
Additional Notes

・In the event of an emergency during the event, please follow the instructions of event officials.
・Medical stations will be set up at the Medical Headquarters (Finish Line), Medical Station 1 (20km mark), Medical Station 2 (30km mark), and Medical Station 3 (37.5km mark).
・Water stations will be located at 8 points, and sponge stations at 6 points. Food aid stations will also be provided at the 21km and 30km marks.
・Special drinks will not be accepted at this event.
・Official certificates of achievement will be issued to registered Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) members who request one at the Competition Headquarters until 14:30 on the day of the event. (Handling fee: ¥100, available only on the day)
・Temporary parking will be available, but spaces are limited. On the day of the event, please follow the directional signs and instructions from security personnel. We encourage you to arrive early, carpool, and use public transportation.
