[Course] Sasayama Castle Ruins Marathon Course (Japan Association of Athletics Federations Certified)
*This event will be conducted in accordance with the 2025 Japan Association of Athletics Federations Competition Rules and the agreed terms for this tournament.
[Eligibility] 1) Individuals born on or before April 1, 2007
2) Foreign and Japanese nationals residing overseas, and foreign nationals residing in Japan
3) Those who can complete the race within 6 hours and 30 minutes

*Transfer of entry rights and substitution are prohibited.
*Wheelchair participants are not permitted.
*Accompanying by bicycle or similar vehicles is prohibited.
*Participants with physical disabilities who find it difficult to run independently may be accompanied by one guide runner.
[Gate Closures] For traffic, security, and race management reasons, the gates will be closed at the following locations and times. Running will not be permitted after these times.
Finishing after 4:00 PM will be considered an incomplete finish.

- 6.8 km point: 10:40 AM
- 18.2 km point: 12:05 PM
- 24.1 km point: 12:55 PM
- 30.6 km point: 1:55 PM
- 36.3 km point: 2:55 PM
- Finish line: 4:00 PM

Athletes significantly delayed beyond checkpoints may be asked to withdraw from the race. Disqualified participants must remove their athlete bibs and timing chips, use the sidewalks, and cooperate with safe and smooth race closures.

- Overall Awards
Eligible Participants: Top 8 finishers in both men's and women's categories
Awards will be presented based on gross time, with certificates and prizes given to winners.

- Participation and Completion Awards
Participants will receive a commemorative Competition Uniform, and finishers will receive a Tamba-yaki completion medal.

[Handling of Personal Information] The organizers recognize the importance of personal information and will strictly comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related regulations and handle personal information in accordance with the organizers' Personal Information Protection Policy.
For the purpose of improving services to tournament participants, personal information will be used for participation invitations, record notifications, related information notifications, information about the next tournament, tournament sponsorship, providing services from cooperating and related organizations, and announcing records (rankings, etc.).
Additionally, the organizers or their contractors may contact you to confirm application details, or for interviews related to program production.
[Other Information] - Participants will not be permitted to run without their athlete bibs and timing chip.
- If the event is canceled due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers (such as warnings, earthquakes, floods, snowfall, incidents, accidents, epidemics, etc.), no refunds will be made for entry fees or other charges. Entry fees will also not be refunded if a participant declines to participate or fails to complete the race.
- Duplicate applications by the same person will not be accepted. Furthermore, false statements regarding name, age, gender, nationality, place of residence, JAAF registration information, record, etc. will not be tolerated. Anyone found guilty of such conduct will be disqualified, and the organizers will not provide any compensation or refunds.
- Sign language interpreters will be available at the venue on the day of the event.
- The organizers may provide first aid for injuries or illnesses that occur during the event, but will not assume any responsibility. Participants must take due care of their health, check their health status in advance, and participate at their own risk. The organizers may transport participants to a medical institution at their discretion. All medical expenses are the participant's responsibility.
-During the race, measures may be taken to stop runners and allow other vehicles to pass due to the passage of emergency vehicles, etc.
-Due to limited parking capacity at the race venue, we strongly recommend that you arrive by public transportation or a marathon bus provided by a designated service provider.
-The organizers assume no responsibility for late arrivals due to issues with public transportation, roads, or parking.
-A luggage check will be available on the day of the race. Luggage that can be stored will be limited to those that fit into the designated luggage check bags. Items that exceed the specified size or are stored in any other way will not be accepted.
-Applicants agree that the organizers may report, publish, and use video footage, photographs, articles, records, and personal information of applicants, such as their name, age, address (country, prefecture, city/ward/town/village), affiliation, finishing time, and likeness, during the race, in television, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, pamphlets, and other public relations media.
-With the exception of those approved by the organizers, wearing or displaying any advertising materials such as designs or trademarks representing company names or product names is prohibited at the event venue (including on the course). In addition, clothing that violates public order and morals and is inappropriate for a sporting event is not permitted.
-Those approved by the organizers may take and sell photographs and video.
-In addition to the above, participants must follow the organizers' instructions regarding matters related to the event.
