Tournament rules
1. <Regulatory compliance obligations>
Participants acknowledge that the Race will involve dangerous mountain climbing and that all actions on the course are at their own risk. Participants are requested to comply with the rules set by the organizer and to ensure smooth operation. Participants will cooperate with the operation and will be responsible for their own safety and health management.In the unlikely event that you feel unwell, you pledge to immediately cancel your participation.
2. <Understanding the characteristics of trail running and ensuring safety>
As a participant, I am fully aware that trail running involves mountainous courses, so it is carried out in a natural environment that can easily change, and that the physical condition of the participants can change rapidly.Additionally, as the course is located in the mountains, we are fully aware that there is a high possibility that it will hinder rescue and response efforts in an emergency.
3. <Self-report of health status>
The participant is in good health and is not expected to have any problems participating. In addition, if there is anything you would like us to know for medical emergencies, such as allergies, hypersensitivity, or other specific constitutions or pre-existing conditions, or for religious or other reasons, we will notify the organizer in advance.
4. <Responsibility for self-management and consent to first aid treatment>
Participants must participate with full awareness and responsibility for their own safety and health, and in the event that an accident occurs during the course in which the participant becomes the victim or the perpetrator, regardless of the cause, I promise that I will handle the matter at my own risk and will not blame the organizer or the person in charge.If the organizer determines that there is a problem with the continuation of the tournament, we will accept the recommendation to cancel the tournament.If the organizer determines that it is difficult to continue the event, we will not object to the cancellation of the event.If a participant is injured, encounters an accident or becomes ill during the course, the participant consents to the treatment that will be carried out on him or her and will not object to the method or results of that treatment.
5. <Coverage for injuries and fatalities>
Regardless of the cause, participants will be responsible for all events related to the event, regardless of the cause, even if they are injured during trail running or ancillary events, or if they develop after-effects due to these injuries, or if they die. We exempt all related parties from any responsibility.I also understand that compensation for participants is within the scope of the accident insurance purchased at the time of the event.Participant and Participant's executor, trustee, heirs, next of kin, etc. pledge not to pursue any claim for compensation or lawsuit for any injury sustained by Participant, nor to claim payment of attorney's fees.
6. Disclaimer
Participants agree not to hold the organizers responsible for any cancellation or change of the event due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers, such as worsening weather conditions or poor running conditions, or if participation is hindered due to loss or damage of equipment, or if participants develop COVID-19, and they agree not to make any claims for payment of any expenses incurred in participating in the event (including the participation fee). Any other contracts will be made directly between the applicant and the respective companies. We are not involved in any compensation for any troubles or malfunctions.
7. <Handling of personal information and portrait rights>
Regarding the handling of personal information, the information will be used for participation guidance, related information notifications and communications, participation in accident insurance, implementation of questionnaires, and record announcements (rankings, etc.) for the purpose of improving services for tournament participants.
Participants agree to disclose personal information such as their portrait, name, address, age, gender, competition history, and self-introduction in response to the organizer's business report and the request of the relevant government agency.Participants also agree that their personal information, such as their portrait, age, gender, competition history, and self-introduction, may be used on websites, pamphlets, related publicity materials, news reports, and information media created by the organizer. I hereby consent to the commercial use of printed materials, videos, information media, etc. produced by the organizer.
8. <Matters not stipulated in this pledge>
If any doubt arises regarding the interpretation of this agreement, I agree to resolve it in accordance with the rules related to the tournament. In the unlikely event that a dispute arises regarding the tournament, we agree that the exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance shall be the Otsu District Court, and the governing law shall be Japanese law.
