The course was supervised by Tournament Chairperson Naoko Takahashi!

This is an event connecting "Gifu" and "the World"!

The course for this half marathon was supervised by Naoko Takahashi, a gold medalist in the women's marathon at the Sydney Olympics and a native of Gifu Prefecture.
The race is popular as an event attracting a wide range of runners, from top domestic and international athletes (specially invited) who participate in the Olympics and World Championships to beginners. Tournament Chairperson Naoko Takahashi offers high-fives with smiles to energize the runners.
Enjoy a pleasant, mostly flat course running along both banks of the Nagara River, famous for its cormorant fishing, with the fresh greenery of Gifu Castle's Kinka Mountain as a backdrop.
Attractive aid stations featuring Gifu Prefecture's renowned “AYU sweet” and “KEI-chan chicken food” are also a highlight!
