◆Charity will be held in advance / general entry. You can apply as many as you like for 500 yen each. The money collected will be donated to the Tsukuba Children's Blue Feather Fund.

◆Commemorative Items You can choose either the event original goods (shoe bag) or local specialty products during the entry process.

◆Benefits (1) Qualification for "Tokyo Marathon 2025"

  • Tsukuba Marathon is an affiliated event of RUN as ONE - Tokyo Marathon 2025 (General Category).
  • Among the residents of Tsukuba City who complete the full marathon, three individuals will be selected through a lottery to receive qualification for "Tokyo Marathon 2025" (scheduled for March 2, 2025). The selected individuals will be responsible for the participation fee and other expenses.
  • After the conclusion of the 43rd Tsukuba Marathon, a fair lottery will be conducted by the event organizing committee secretariat to determine the winners among the full marathon finishers. Once the details of Tokyo Marathon 2025 are announced, we will contact the winners one by one to confirm their intention to participate, and the winners will be designated as recipients of the qualification.

(2) Qualification for "Kasumigaura Marathon and International Blind Marathon 2024" The first-place male and female finishers in the full marathon and 10km race will receive qualification for the "Kasumigaura Marathon and International Blind Marathon 2024."

Full marathon Wave start at 9:00-9:20/10km start at 9:55

Participants who do not pass the start line by 10 minutes after the start of the last wave for the Full Marathon and 5 minutes after the start of the 10km will be disqualified.
Course Start: Tsukuba University loop road
Finish: Tsukuba University Athletics Stadium.
(Course to be certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations)

Qualifications •Full marathon’s athletes born on or before April 1, 2005
*All participants must meet the age requirements specified above, be able to complete the marathon within 6 hours, and have a clear understanding of and agree to abide by the event's guidelines.

•10ｋｍ’s athletes born on or before April 1, 2008

*All participants must meet the age requirements specified above, be able to complete the10km race within 75 minutes, and have a clear understanding of and agree to abide by the event's guidelines.
Entry Fee •Full marathon ：10,000yen
•10km：6,000yen
Competition Rules The competition rules will be in accordance with the 2023 rules of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) and the rules of this competition.
Awards Overall: Awards will be presented to the top 8 men and the top 8 women runners.(Gross time)
Age Group:Awards will be given at a later date to the top eight men and women in each category in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and over 70s. (Net time)
Shuttle bus (1) Tsukuba Express: Shuttle buses will be operated from the Kenkyu Gakuen Station. Fare: One-way 270 yen (IC fare: 263 yen).
(2) JR Joban Line: Shuttle buses will be operated from the East Exit of Tsuchiura Station. Fare: One-way 620 yen (IC fare: 618 yen).
(3) Direct buses are available from JR Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit (Paid service, advance reservation required, inquiries: Yomiuri Travel Otemachi Branch, Tel: 03-6202-4350).
