Entry Process ■Application Information
1) Application Period: 
From 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 to 5:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025.
   ↓
2) Lottery Drawing (if capacity is exceeded)

3) Notification of Results 
※Lottery results will be notified via email to the registration representative on  Friday, September 26, 2025.
※Additional winners may be notified depending on the situation.

(If you have applied for a group, please inform the participants from the representative.)

4) Payment 
The entry process is complete once the winner has made the necessary payment.
※Lottery results and the payment notification for winners will be sent via e-mail to the registration representative. Please make sure that you can receive e-mails from the following domain.

※Winners (representative for group entries) are required to make a collective payment.
※In case the payment is not made by the due date, the right will be invalidated and you will not be able to participate in the event.

Individual: USD145  + USD5 x 2 units
Group: USD150 + USD5ｘ2units
720 <Naniwa>: USD50 + USD5 x 2 units

※An administrative fee of 11% is required on the total amount including entry fee and charity goods 
(a flat fee of USD5 is applied if the total amount is less than USD40).
※Only credit card payment is accepted.
※A charity donation is required at least 2 units per person (USD5 per unit). (Two charity donations are included in the enty fee.)

Please note that no additions, quantity changes, or cancellations can be accepted after the entry deadline.

■Important Notes
- Group applications are not accepted if any member is registered with the Japan Association of Athletics Federations.
- For groups, the representative should apply and pay the participation fee.
- Duplicate applications will be disqualified.
- For the individual division, Japan Association of Athletics Federations registered division and 720<Naniwa> Run division, only the person who will be running can apply.
 ※If you are participating with family or friends, please apply as a group.
- After the entry deadline, changes to the number of participants or group members (2 to 7 members) cannot be accepted.
- Group participants will start in the same block as the person with the slowest personal best time and estimated time as indicated at the time of application.
- 720 <Naniwa> Marathon will start from the first block of the 3rd wave.

9:15 am  General Marathon 1st wave starts, following 2nd and 3rd waves start sequentially.
※720 <Naniwa>Marathon starts from the first block of the 3rd wave.
11:05 am  720 <Naniwa>Marathon finishes.
4:15 pm  General Marathon finishes.
Eligibility ◆Full marathon：Persons born on or before April 1, 2007
(1) JAAF members (Registrants for the year 2025)
(2) Non-JAAF members
※Those who have difficulty running alone may be accompanied by one escort runner.(An escort runner can change only once at a designated point on the course. Running with a guide dog or any other animal is not permitted)
※Those who can finish the race by the end time of the event.
◆720 <Naniwa> Marathon : Persons born on or before April 1, 2010.
※Those who can finish the race by the end time of the event.
※Wheelchair racers are not allowed.
Charity

◾️The Osaka Marathon is a charity marathon event!
We aim to promote a culture of charity by providing opportunities for all participants, spectators, volunteers, and everyone involved in the Osaka Marathon to engage in charitable activities.

【Charity Colors and Themes】
On the day of the race, you will be required to wear an athlete bib reflecting the charity color of your choice.

＜About Charity Donations＞
In addition to the participation fee, we kindly ask for a charity donation of at least 2 units (USD5 per unit).
※All donations will be contributed to the charity partner of Osaka Marathon 2026 (charity donation recipient organization).
※The entry fee includes 2 units of charity donations. If you wish to contribute more, please select the number of units in the "Options" during registration.

＜About Charity Goods＞
We accept applications for the purchase of charity goods during registration.
※Only runners whose participation has been confirmed through a lottery can actually purchase them.
※A portion of the sales revenue, excluding production costs, will be donated to the charity partner of Osaka Marathon 2026 (charity donation recipient organization).

※If you would like to purchase a bib with your nickname on it, please enter your nickname in the questionnaire. Please note that if you do not enter your nickname, a number will be displayed.
Line-up at the Start Wave (time staggered) start will be implemented to reduce congestion and ensure runner safety.
Line-up blocks will be determined by the organizers from the perspective of race management and safety, based on the personal best time and estimated finish time declared at the time of application, regardless of whether the runner is registered with the JAAF or not.　
Please be sure to adhere to your starting block, as you will be disqualified if you start ahead of your designated block (wave). 

※Personal best time must be a record (gross or net time) from a recognized marathon held on or after August 1, 2023. False declarations will result in disqualification.
※Please calculate your estimated finish time carefully based on your half marathon and other records and your daily practice.
※Please note that in the case of group entry, all participants from the same group will start from the same block as the one with the slowest personal best time and estimated time declared at the time of application.
※720 <Naniwa> Marathon starts from the first block of the third wave.
Course and Time Limit

While retaining the well-received course for its potential of achieving excellent records, we have further increased the famous cheering and made abundant preparations for various drink and food supplies!
We are completely reviewing our post-finish operations and striving to ensure smooth handling.

（1）Marathon :
Osaka Marathon course starting in front of the Osaka Prefectural Government Building and finishing within Osaka Castle Park (official course of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), World Athletics (WA), and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS)
Time limit: 7 hours (race ends at 4:15 pm). ※The time limit is based on the starting gun of the first wave.

（2）720<Naniwa>Marathon :
Course starting in front of the Osaka Prefectural Government Building and finishing in front of the Nakanoshima Children's Book Forest
Time limit: 1 hour and 20 minutes (race ends at 11:05 am). ※The time limit is based on the starting gun of the third wave (9:45 am).
Awards

The awards will be granted based on the gross time as follows:
(720<Naniwa>Run Marathon does not include awards.)
◎ The top eight male and female finishers overall will be awarded.
◎The Civic Runner Award is granted to male and female runners finishing in first place, excluding invited athletes and elite runners.
◎The Chicago Marathon Award is granted to male and female runners who live in Osaka Prefecture and finish in first place, excluding invited athletes, elite runners, representative runners for affiliate marathons, and the Chicago Marathon Award winners up through the 13th Osaka Marathon.
◎The Prague Marathon Award is granted to male and female runners who live in Osaka Prefecture and finish in the second place, excluding invited athletes, elite runners, representative runners for affiliate marathons, and the Prague Marathon Award winners in the 13th Osaka Marathon. However, if a male or female runner finishing in first place is not eligible for the Chicago Marathon Award, they shall receive the Prague Marathon Award instead.
※ Additionally, based on net time, certificates will be sent later to the top three male and female participants in each age category (5-year increments), excluding invited athletes, elite runners, and overall winners, as well as to the super senior award for the oldest finisher.
Competition Rules The race will be conducted in accordance with the latest rules and regulations of the WA, the JAAF, and this event.
Since the Osaka Marathon is a Label Road Race certified by the WA, the WA Road Race Label Regulations also apply. Doping control tests will be conducted in accordance with the WA Rules.
Doping Control / TUE Application ＜Doping Control ＞
Doping control tests will be conducted in accordance with the latest WA Anti-Doping Rules, the World Anti-Doping Code, and the Japan Anti-Doping Code. For doping control tests carried out before or after the race, a sample of Urine or blood (or both) will be collected. People nominated should take the test as instructed.

＜TUE Application＞
Athletes who have to use prohibited substances/methods included on the Prohibited List for the purpose of treating a disease must file an application for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). For details, please refer to the websites below.
