■Terms and Conditions

(1) No changes or cancellations will be allowed after application has been made. No refunds will be made for non-participation due to illness or other personal reasons.

(2) The organizer will decide on a case-by-case basis if the event is reduced or cancelled due to earthquakes, windstorms, floods, snowfall, incidents, accidents, illnesses, etc. The participation fee will be refunded or not and the amount will be determined after deducting expenses incurred up to the time of cancellation.

(3) Participants must be free of heart disease or illness. In addition, they must be in good health and have trained sufficiently to participate in the competition.

(4) Participants must immediately comply with the organizer's instructions to stop the competition if the organizer determines during the event that there is a problem with the continuation of the competition. In addition, they must follow any other instructions given by the organizers regarding safety management and event operation.

(5) In the event of injury or illness during the competition, participants are deemed to have agreed to receive first aid.

(6) In the event of accidents, loss, injury or illness, compensation will be made within the scope of the insurance policy purchased by the organizer, except in the case of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the organizer.

[Insurance coverage]

In the event of physical disability due to injury or illness (heat stroke, dehydration, etc.) while participating in the competition, compensation will be paid (death, permanent disability, hospitalization, and hospital visits). ＊New type coronavirus infection is not covered by insurance.

(7) If the participant is a minor, he/she may apply only if his/her family, relative, or guardian has consented to his/her participation in the competition.

(8) False declaration of age, gender, etc., or entry by a person other than the applicant (substitute runner) is not permitted. If found, the organizer may cancel the entry or awards, or disqualify the applicant from the next or subsequent races. The organizers will not be held responsible for any relief, refunds, etc. for false declarations or substitute runners.

(9) Personal information such as name, age, gender, record, and portrait may be reported, published, or used in newspapers, television, magazines, the Internet, pamphlets, e and other media in the course of videos, photographs, articles, records, etc. of the tournament. The right to publish and use such information belongs to the organizer.

(10) The handling of personal information of competition applicants will be held in accordance with the organizer's terms and conditions as described below.

(11) In addition to the terms and conditions of the relevant application, the organizer will hold the competition in accordance with its own separate rules and regulations for the cancellation of the competition (in the event of any discrepancy, the rules and regulations of the competition shall take precedence).
 

■Handling of Personal Information

1. The organizer recognizes the importance of personal information and will strictly observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, The organizer will handle personal information in accordance with the organizer's personal information protection policy.

In addition, the organizer will use the personal information of all participants in the competition for the purpose of improving its services, as follows:

(1) Sending of athlete bibs (number cards), related information, competition information, etc.

(2) Publication of name, age, etc. on the competition website and in the Tokushima Shimbun and other newspapers.

(3) Convention sponsorship, cooperation, and services from related organizations

(4) Record announcements (rankings, etc.) *Including organizations other than the organizers

(5) First aid and cooperation with medical institutions (for injuries and sickness, etc.)

(6) Countermeasures against infectious diseases (provision to public health centers and medical institutions, etc.)

2. The use of images of the competition by third parties (including distribution of images and videos on the Internet) without the permission of the organizers is prohibited.
