Would you like to enjoy a forest bathing run on a course surrounded by pristine forests in June when the fresh greenery abounds? Located in Chitose City, Hokkaido, amidst nature such as the Chitose River and the Shikotsu Lake in the National Park. Our staff eagerly awaits your visit.

*the Start time may change.
*A meeting time will be announced in the participation information sent from JTB Sports Station before the event.
*Since the 3km Marathon family division is a fun run, the results will be recorded, but there will be no rankings or awards.
*Please refrain from pushing a stroller or bringing small children into the race.
*Runners must be the same person who entered the race.
*Bib pickup is possible only on the race day, No Registrations or Pickups the day before.

start method Full Marathon & Half Marathon:
To alleviate course congestion, a wave start will be implemented.
For both categories, A and B blocks will be assigned in the order of estimated finishing time.
For both categories, C and D blocks will be assigned at random.
If no estimated finishing time is entered, runner will be assigned in Block D.
In order to eliminate the inequality caused by this starting method, net times will be used. As a result, there will be a delay in determining the rankings, so no real-time rankings will be reported.

3km Marathon:
No block assignments will be made due to simultaneous start. However, elementary and junior high school students will be assigned in separate lanes. Preliminary rankings will be posted on the website.
10 minutes prior to the start of each category, participants will be informed to move to the starting point in order.

● the Half Marathon
No mid-course checkpoints are set based on the assumptions of the completion within 3hours and 30minutes, but if the runner is deemed unable to finish the race within 3 hours and 30 minutes, according to the safety concerns and event operation, the race will be stopped midway. Please follow the instructions of staff.
 Finish line close: 12:30

● 3km Marathon
No mid-course checkpoints or finish line closure time are set, but if it was judged that there were hindrances to the safety management and event operation, please follow the instructions of staff.

Participation Prize/Awards

● Participation Prize
All participants will receive an original towel.
※The 3km Marathon Family category will have one towel per group.

● Awards
Awards will be given to the top 1-6 male finishers and top 1-3 female finishers in each category for the Full Marathon and the Half Marathon. Awards will be given to the top 1-3 finishers in each category for the 3km Marathon. 
※Since the 3km Marathon Family division is a fun run, the results will be recorded, but there will be no rankings or awards.
In addition, 4 overall winners of each of the men's and women's full and half marathons will receive voluntary round-trip tickets for Japan Airlines domestic flights.

● Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony of the full and half marathon will not be held together with the 3km marathon due to the net time measurement by wave start which cause a delay in determining the ranking (preliminary report). Prizes will be sent out later.

● Special Prizes
・Two groups of four individuals will be invited to a "2-night 3-day domestic trip with JAL Pack" as special prize selected through a computer lottery by the event organizing committee. Please refer to the event website for entry details.
・Only the prefecture of residence and surnames of the winners will be announced on the event website. Winners will also be contacted by the event organizing committee.
・Please note that the details of special prizes are subject to change due to social conditions.
・Lucky prize will be awarded to the participants whose race number ends in "45" with an original T-shirt.
・As the Sister City Prize and participants representing the event, one outstanding Full Marathon runner residing in Chitose City will be invited to the "Ibusuki  Nanohana Marathon" through a lottery.

● Attractions, etc.
There will be no attractions or lottery events at the main stage.
 

Notes ● Finisher's certificates will be available for downloading on the web.
●If you miss the start of your block for the full or the half marathon, please be sure to line up at the end of the next block to avoid danger. For both marathons, if you miss the start of the last block or start without lining up, you will be disqualified.
●In the full and half marathon course, there will be 2 signal operations for crossing the Lake Shikotsu Park Road after 33km point (after 11km point in the half marathon).To prevent danger, you may be asked to stop temporarily by the official staff, please follow the instructions of the staff as dangerous running will greatly affect the event. Failure to follow the instructions will result in disqualification.
●Toilets will be set up at water stations approximately every 5 km.
●All finishers of the full and half marathons will receive a commemorative T-shirt after the finish.
●There is no wheelchair category in this event.
●There will be a baggage check area on the 1st floor arena only for the Full and the Half Marathon participants. Please put your baggage into the designated baggage bag (approx. 45L) which will be sent to you in advance. Other items cannot be checked. Please store those items in the athletes' waiting room or on the 2nd floor bleachers at your own risk.
Baggage checks will be available from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. and will be returned from 4:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. after the finish line. ※The start point is a 5-minute walk from the baggage check point, so please allow plenty of time to get there.
●Please bring your health insurance card on the day of the race in case of illness or injury.
●Free shuttle bus will be operated from the Sumiyoshi Softball Field and adjacent parking lot (about 1,000 parking spaces) via JR Chitose Station to the venue (near the Chitose City Library).※Please allow plenty of time to go to the venues as the shuttle bus will be crowded.
●Since the number of parking spaces prepared by the organizer is limited, we recommend that you use the Sumiyoshi Softball Field and the adjacent parking lot, which have plenty of place for parking, or please use public transportation.
