One of the attractions of the Yokohama Marathon is its unique course that showcases the beauty of Yokohama. Runners can enjoy the scenic views of the Minato Mirai district right in front of them, starting from the Yokohama Landmark Tower and passing by landmarks such as the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Yamashita Park, and the waterfront area of Yokohama Hammerhead. The course also takes runners through the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, a section of the highway that is usually closed to pedestrians, allowing them to fully appreciate the landscapes of Yokohama, a port city. Along the course, there are aid stations that not only provide refreshments but also feature special performances. Additionally, local Yokohama and Kanagawa food items are offered as "Lucky Meals" to support and enhance the event for the runners.
