【Other Information】
(1) The organizers are not responsible for any delays due to public transportation or road conditions on the day of the event.
(2) During the race, there may be situations where runners are temporarily stopped to prioritize the passage of emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
(3) Please follow the instructions of on-site police officers, course supervisors, and other authorities during the event. This also applies in case of emergencies.
(4) Only registered participants are allowed to receive assistance during the race (no bicycles, animals, etc.).
(5) Ensure that you wear your race number card and timing chip throughout the run. Timing chips will be collected after finishing. In the event of non-participation or mid-race withdrawal, return the chip without fail. You will be responsible for the cost of any unreturned, damaged, or lost chips.
(6) Place the wear with the race number card on top.
(7) If you experience any physical abnormalities during the race, please stop immediately. The organizers will provide first aid, but they are not responsible for any other liabilities, so please be aware of this in advance.
(8) It is not allowed to wear or display any advertising materials, such as logos, brand names, or trademarks, for advertising purposes on the event premises, including the course.
(9) The organizers may permit commissioned sales of items like photographs for approved items.
(10) If you discover any suspicious or hazardous objects at the event venue (including on the course), please do not approach or touch them; instead, report to on-site police officers or staff members.

Runners' Registration

1.Please check in by presenting your foreign runner ID card (to be sent by e-mail at a later date) to a staff member at the registration desk at the starting point. At check-in, you will be given a number card, a measurement chip (runner's chip), and a designated bag for baggage deposit.
2.Petitors without the Foreign Runner ID card (to be sent by email later) will not be allowed to participate.
3.To confirm the entry of participants, please make sure to pass through the start line after the race starts. Failure to do so will result in no record measurement.
4.The organizers will provide beverages (mineral water, sports drinks, etc.) at each aid station. Special drinks cannot be accepted due to event logistics.
5.Please assemble at the starting point by 8:45 in your race attire. Being late will be considered as withdrawal from the race.

Oasis Square (Near the starting point)

1.We will operate special buses (free of charge) for athletes from JR Tottori Station South Exit, Yamata Athletic Stadium, and Tottori Prefectural Central Hospital to the starting point (Oasis Square). When boarding the bus, please present your Foreign Runner ID card (to be sent by email later) to the staff.
2.There are no parking facilities around Oasis Square. Using vehicles for transportation may cause traffic congestion on surrounding roads and disrupt the marathon event's operation, so please refrain from doing so.
※Transportation by vehicles provided by hotels, inns, or other accommodations to transfer participants (e.g., minibuses) is allowed only for vehicles that have received prior approval from the organizers.
3.Participants' baggage (excluding valuables) will be transported by the organizers from the starting venue to the finishing venue in designated bags sent in advance.
Time Limit

6 hours (from the start gun)

1.For event management purposes, there will be time restrictions.
2.The location of checkpoints and their closing times (currently under consideration) may change depending on the circumstances.
3.Participants who cannot pass a checkpoint should promptly discontinue the race, follow the instructions of the officials, and board the athlete pickup vehicle.
4.In cases of significant delays at locations other than checkpoints (where it is expected to exceed the closing time of the next checkpoint), participants will be asked to discontinue the race.
5.Objections regarding checkpoints or athlete pickups will not be accepted.
※Measures may be taken to run on sidewalks. Please follow the instructions of on-site staff.
Qualifications

(1) Men and women who are 18 years of age or older as of the race day (March 17, 2024), regardless of whether they are registered with the Japan Association of Athletics Federations or not.
(2) Individuals with the running ability to meet the checkpoint restrictions.
(3) Individuals in good health who can comply with the event requirements.
(4) Participants on the race day must be the ones who entered themselves.
(5) Individuals recommended or invited by the event.

Maximum Number of Participants

4,300 participants (first-come, first-served).

※Includes 500 slots for Tottori Prefecture residents.
※Foreign participant slots are separate (100 slots).
Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 1st to 8th male and female finishers in the registered/general category.

Age group awards (awards and prizes will be sent at a later date, not on the race day) will be given to the top 1st to 3rd male and female finishers in the following age categories: under 30, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70 years and older.

pacing Participants with disabilities who have difficulty running alone can have one companion.
A special bib number will be provided for the companion.
