The course is certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations [JAAF].
Start at Hamadera Park (Sakai) → R204 → Turn at Ohamanakamachi intersection → Turn left at Matsubara intersection → Izumisano Iwade Route(R63) → Finish at Rinku Park(Izumisano)


<2>10km Marathon

Start at Hamadera Park (Sakai) → R204 → Turn at Ohjigawa minami intersection(Takaishi) → Turn at Suwanomori Kita intersection(Sakai) → Finish at Hamadera Park.
Time limit
The time limit is from the sound of the starting gun.

Cut-off times are set at each checkpoint due to the limited duration of traffic control, security, and race administration.

Race organizers have set the following disqualification times at the listed distances:

1st Sakai Waterworks Department 4.0 km (11:02 am)
2nd Former Takaishi Gymnasium 10.7 km (11:50 am)
3rd Kishiwada Sightseeing Bus Company 16.6 km (0:30 pm)
4th Opposite the SHARP warehouse 23.9 km (1:20 pm)
5th Sennan central Vegetable and Fruit Market 28.9 km (1:55 pm)
6th North area of Okadakita Intersection 34.4 km (2:35 pm)
7th North area of Okadakita Intersection 39.4 km (3:10 pm)

Competition Rules
The race is conducted in accordance with the FY2017 official regulations of Japan Association of Athletics Federations and the official agreements of the Race Organizer.

Eligibility
Please be informed that wheelchair athletes cannot participate in this race because of the race administration restrictions and other reasons.

Eligible runners must be 18 years old of age or older as of race day and complete the race with the set time limit.

<2>10km Marathon
Eligible runners must be born on or before April 1st 2002 and complete the race with the set time limit.

Escort Optically Inconvenienced Runners
It is necessary to register at the race entry. The runner can request two escort runners, but run with only one escort runner at one time. Runner will be able to change a escort runner at 3points (10km,20km,30km)

Entrants will be given a T-shirt as a gift at the check-in desk. Be sure to specify size on your application form. If non specified, male runners will be given a size L, and female runners will be given a size S. Please note that exchange is impossible in this case.

For Finisher
<1>Full Marathon
All finishers who complete the marathon within the time limit of 5 hours will be given a finisher towel at finish line and will be able to get the official certificate result through JTB sport station’s Homepage after the race.

<2>10km Marathon
All finishers who complete the 10km marathon within the time limit of 1 hour will be given a finisher towel and the official certificate result at the race day.

For the Top3 Runners
The Awards ceremony for the top 1-3 runners will take place at the event area in the finish venue.
Awards will be given to:
The top 3 male and female runners at the 3 categories (General, JAAF members, Non-JAAF members)

For the 4-8th place Runners
The 4-8th runners will be given a certificate and a plaque at the tent beside the event stage. (JAAF members, Non-JAAF members)

For the Age Bracket
After the Race, we will disclose the top 3 male and female at intervals of 10 ages. (Under 29, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s or over) on our official homepage and send each color medal.

<2>10km Marathon
・Place : Hamadera Park
The Awards ceremony for the top 1-3 runners will take place at Hamadera Park.
Awards will be given to:
The top 3 male and female runners.

For the 4-8th place Runners
The 4-8th runners will be given a certificate at the race official tent.
Others
1. The organizer does not have a parking lot for participants.

2. During the race, please follow instructions given by police officers and staff on the route.

3. The course will have seven checkpoints. Runners who fall excessively behind will be instructed to leave the course at any points other than the checkpoints.

4. The 25th race guidance for international residents will be opened by the end of January at the latest.

5. Bib Number Pick-up Vouchers will be displayed on your "My Page".

6. Runners may leave one baggage (maximum size 65cm×50cm) at the starting area. Only one bag is permitted per runner.
Race Organizers will transport them to the finishing area for the full marathon runners / or keep them at the start area for the 10km marathon runners. Valuables are not the responsibility of the race organizers. You alone are responsible for your valuables. It is advised to not place any valuables in the baggage you check in.

7. If admitted by the event organizer, Third parties may sell photos and other items.

8. Runners are not allowed to run the race with items that are not necessary for the race. [Fancy costumes prohibited.]

9. Concerning matters related to the race other than the above, please follow the instructions of the organizers.

Event agreement

Before applying, please agree to the following terms and conditions for the entry.

1. If I am injured or have an accident during the race, race organizers will provide first aid treatment only. I am responsible for any further treatment that may be required.

2. Any false information such as age, gender, record are prohibited, a third person is not permitted for run instead of the applicant in any situation. All fees are non-refundable in this case.

3. In the case of an earthquake, storm, flooding, snow, or accident, the organizers will assess the situation and make a decision concerning scaling down or cancelling the race accordingly. Organizers in no way will be held responsible for the cancellation of the race and entry fees will not be refunded.

4. I agree that all fees are non-refundable after application has been submitted.

5. All photos and documentation taken or used during the KIX Senshu International Marathon event are subject to copyright and belong to the organizer to use as they see fit. Unauthorized use of these materials is prohibited.

6. The organizers will handle applicants' information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law in Japan.

7. I must not have any sickness, be in sound state of health and carryout sufficient training in preparation for this marathon. Any sickness, injury and any accidents that occur during the race are personal responsibility.
