You will be charged a fee for forgetting to bring your bib and/or timing chip.

*Runners who exceed the time limit will be asked to move to the sidewalk and withdraw from the race.
Checkpoints
◆Due to operational needs, there will be 5 checkpoints throughout the course. Runners who do not make it to a checkpoint before the designated time will be asked to withdraw from the race.


◆Runners who did not make it to a checkpoint within the allotted time, or otherwise asked to withdraw from the race, must remove their bib and timing chip, and follow the instructions from the event staff.

Checkpoint 2: Hashide South Intersection(12.7km)
Checkpoint 3: Nagasaki Kaigan convenience store parking lot (on return route)(20.6km)
Checkpoint 4: Onahama Port No. 1 wharf(24.8km)
Checkpoint 5: Intersection in front of Nissan Iwaki Plant (on return route)(35.2km)

* Part of the course is subject to change.
Time keeping
* The official race time is the length of time between the official start of the race at the gun and the moment you cross the finish line.
Finishers will receive finisher’s certificate on the day of the event.

*The race time will be measured using timing chips. Please have it secured on your shoe at the race. If you it is not on your shoe, your race time will not be measured.

*Please be sure to return the timing chip upon finishing the race.
Participation award
*Since the last event, the event T-shirt has been resigned to a tighter, sporty fit.


*Check your size, and decide on a desired size.
Please be aware that T-shirt size cannot be changed after the initial order.
If the size is not specified, men will receive L size and women will receive M size.

◆Full Marathon
★ Top 10 male and female finishers will be awarded. Additionally, top 8 finishers in each division, aside from the registered division, will be awarded.



Other special awards are available. Top finishers will be entered into marathon races abroad.
Please be aware that the registration fee has changed since the 7th race.
Parking
◆There is no parking at the start/goal area.
◆You must “pre-register” for a parking space. Therefore, be sure to select “parking needed,” if you need a spot. If you do not make the selection, you will not be permitted to park your vehicle.
◆There will be shuttle buses operating between the parking lot and the event venue.
◆Parking spots will be assigned by the event office.
◆Parking is limited. Local participants are urged to use the shuttles departing from nearby train stations.
Managing your physical condition
◆Be sure to manage your own physical condition before the race by training appropriately and seeing a physician.

◆In particular, if you suffer from chronic illness such as, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes, obtain a physician’s approval prior to participating in the event.
Registration rules
●Registration is accepted on first come, first serve basis. When the maximum number of registrants is reached, it will be notified on the event website, and the registration will be closed at that point.

●In case of event minimization or cancellation due to unforeseeable circumstances including earthquake, Tsunami, heavy snow, incidents, or accidents, registration fee will not be refunded.

●All participants must bring a copy of their health insurance card.

●The age at the day of the event will be used for division classification.

●The registered person must participate in the event (no substitute runners). Falsifying your age or gender will disqualify you from the event.

●Wheelchairs are not permitted on the race course.

●Accompanying runners for visually impaired runners do not need to register for the event. Please make it clear, from the front and back, that you are an accompanying runner. Please contact the event office prior to the event to go over specific rules.

●Race start time is determined based on your declared race time. Please be sure to declare your race time.
If you fail to declare your race time, you will be entered into the 5-hour + corale.

●Please enter your apartment unit in your address. Please notify the event office if your address changes. Failure to enter a correct address may cause you to not receive your bib and other important documents.
 
●In order to estimate the number of hotel reservations, please state whether you need one. However, this is not a guarantee for such services.

●The event organizer reserves the right to post the videos, images, articles, and record taken during the event to the media such as TV, newspapers, magazines, and internet.
 
●Runners’ personal belongings are transported from the start area to the finish area by the organizer.
The organizer will abide by the law, and associated ordinances, regarding the protection of personal information.
